Colton & Hannah had such a classic, elegant, and modern wedding! These two contacted me knowing they would have to have a micro wedding due to the 2020 pandemic, but knew they wanted they wanted to officially seal the deal with each other. Meeting these two was such a joy. They are one of the sweetest couples, and I think you can tell how lovingly they looked towards each other in these pictures :).
First, my 2nd shooter and I met them at the Swissotel eaarrllyy, early morning , and then we traveled onto the Chicago famous, Wrigley Building! It was SUCH a chilly early October day, so we were definitely working with a lot of wind! Luckily you can’t even tell since Colton was so great at keeping Hannah warm :).
These two brought their absolutely stunning poodles to their wedding day, and it 100% made the entire shoot feel straight out of an editorial. Then we boarded Odyssey Chicago River Cruises , which I personally have wanted to experience for a while, and got to see the panoramic views of the city from the river!
From then these two said their sweet vows and tied the knot at the front bow of the ship, and we got to enjoy THE most delicious 5 course meal, and absolutely mouth watering hors d'oeuvres. I would absolutely recommend Odyssey Chicago River Cruises for your wedding day, or just for a fun evening with your loved ones. The experience is completely mind blowing, so beautiful, and so memorable! It was such an honor getting to capture such a sweet and loving couple. Weddings like these make me remember why I became a wedding photographer in the first place, and theirs will for sure be a wedding for the books!

Next, we headed to the river to board the cruise boat for the ceremony and beautiful luncheon :)!
